[Class Routine] In Your Journal Assignments

A new type of assignment this year is known as In Your Journal. You will see In Your Journal: in the directions for some assignments. You will also see the following information after In Your Journal:

  1. The heading for the assignment in your journal.
  2. The due date for the assignment.
  3. The point value for the assignment.
Look at the following screenshot for an example. The In Your Journal: information has been circled in red.

Procedures For Checking In Your Journal Assignments

  1. It is the responsibility of the student to present the journal for grading during class or during Open Lab.
  2. Assignments are due BEFORE THE END OF THE CLASS PERIOD on the assignment due date.
  3. Assignments will be date stamped upon receipt. This date stamp is your proof the assignment has been completed correctly.
  4. Your assignment will be graded and recorded in the gradebook.
  5. You may have an opportunity to make corrections. Please review any feedback/notes in your journal.
