Prep Work [5-10 Minutes]
Every day you should:
- Login to DCPS OneView.
- Read your DCPS e-mail.
- Race three races on NitroType.
- Follow any additional instructions from the teacher.
- Complete the Pre-Play questions for Let's Play: StarCraft.
- Whichever group has all students complete the pre-play questions first will play first today.
Instruction [10-20 Minutes]
Students will complete the Let's Play: StarCraft activity.
Students will discuss the requirements for the Game Studio project including:
- Job functions / roles.
- Design ideas.
Work [45-60 Minutes]
Continue working on Introduction to JavaScript.
Continue working on My Favorite Noun - Version 2.
Complete the post-play questions for StarCraft once you have played the game.
Break Down [5 Minutes]
Before you leave please do the following::
- BACKUP your data in at least two locations.
- RESTART the computer.
- TURN OFF the monitor.
- COLLECT your materials.
- WAIT quietly to be dismissed.
- PUSH in your chair when you leave.
- THROW away any trash in the trashcan as you leave.
