[Let's Play] Doom II

Background

Gaming and game design is one of the most important standards for ICT-3. Designing high quality games requires that you play games too! For this assignment, students will have some time to play one of the greatest computer games of all time: Doom 2.

Doom 2 was originally released in 1994 for the PC. At the time, it was the pinnacle of computer graphics and technical achievement. It supported 4-player multiplayer via local network (LAN) and also supported 2-player play via modem. Doom 2 was later released on Xbox Live Arcade, the Apple iPhone, and numerous other systems. Doom 2 has sold at least 1.5 million copies, most likely more than 2 million when counting all of the various systems.
