Every day you should:
- Login to DCPS OneView and Focus.
- Open Outlook and OneNote.
- Clock-in on Focus.
- Check your e-mail for important information.
- Follow any special instructions on the board.
Instruction [~5-10 Minutes]
Students will create an account on the website GitHub. GitHub is a website designed to allow collaboration on coding projects.
Current Nine Weeks Assignments [~12-25 Minutes]
Continue working on the uCertify "Gaming Essentials" practice questions. Student progress is updated in Focus every Tuesday after school. It must be finished by 11/26/19 for full credit.
- Due Date: November 25, 2019. [2nd Quarter]
- Due Date: December 13, 2019. Points Value: 200. [2nd Quarter]
Begin working on the Space Travel Python programming assignment. It is due December 16, 2019.
Future Nine Weeks Assignments
The assignments listed here are assignments that are due later in the year.
- Students are always free to work ahead and submit them.
- For projects that require a file upload, you will need to change the Nine Weeks in the top right corner of Focus.
- If you are working on a future assignment and get stuck, you must wait until I can help students with current projects first.
uCertify Web Design Essentials: Check your e-mail for the section code to sign-up. This grade will go on the 3rd quarter report card. If you finish early, I can update your grade as soon as possible.
Break Down [~5 Minutes]
Before you leave please do the following::
- BACKUP your data in at least two locations.
- RESTART the computer.
- TURN OFF the monitor.
- COLLECT your materials.
- WAIT quietly to be dismissed.
- PUSH in your chair when you leave.
- THROW away any trash in the trashcan as you leave.
Homework
Finish any class work not completed during the period.
